Therapy with a Written Guarantee

Look folks, I understand that therapy is a major investment and you can't tell if it's going to work for you until you try it. There are hundreds of therapists and modalities to choose from. If I were in your position I would feel overwhelmed, too. You want to work with just the right therapist, but if you have to try out three or four different therapists, that will use up a lot of your therapy dollars. Under that dillemma many people just freeze and do nothing.

To take away the risk I offer you this written guarantee: Try me out for an entire month and if for any reason you are not completely satisfied with the work we are doing together I will refund every dime you have paid me. All I ask is that you give me written notice of why you are not satisfied so I can look at improving that aspect of my practice.

How can I afford to make such an offer? Well, actually I have offered a single session satisfaction guarantee since 1980, and no one has yet taken me up on my offer. Not that every single client is absolutely satisfied and all of their expectations have been met. But, every client so far has been satisfied that I have given them more than their money's worth. So, with the confidence that comes from that kind of track record I feel perfectly OK in making this offer. My practice is, after all, based around helping people first and making a living from it second. And, the satisfaction of my clients suggests that I have my priorities in the right order!
